The Capital List announces the release of Phase 2 of their website

The Capital List, the only website dedicated to Abu Dhabi nightlife, announced the launch of Phase 2 in the development of their website today.

Launched in December 2011, The Capital List provides an unbiased and up-to-date list and description of all nightlife events throughout Abu Dhabi, including bar and club events, ladies nights, comedy and quiz nights, and concerts.

Phase 2 of the site boasts a new look and feel, better listing and navigation of events, better venue listings and filtering, an updated photo viewer, and a new live bands section. DJ mixes are listed using SoundCloud’s embed tool, and videos are now also embedded via YouTube.

Phase 2 also has full social media integration, with a live Twitter feed, as well as the ability for visitors to Like, share and comment on photos when they’re connected to the site via Facebook. They can Like, Tweet, +1 or share photos, events, news and videos.

There's now also a separate section for Big UAE events, where events occurring elsewhere in the UAE with 3000+ capacity can be listed. These are kept separate from the Abu Dhabi events though, so the website doesn’t lose its Abu Dhabi focus.

Melanie Carpenter, General Manager for The Capital List, comments: “We’re excited to be announcing the release of our new site, which demonstrates our long term commitment to the Abu Dhabi nightlife industry.  We will continue to develop the site further, and have some exciting plans for the site which will be announced in the near future.”

The Capital List was designed to fill the gap in the market for a website dedicated to Abu Dhabi nightlife. The Capital List also distributes a weekly nightlife newsletter, so subscribers can stay constantly connected to what’s happening in the Capital.
