Thursday 28th February

Chris Tucker will have audiences roaring with laughter tonight and tomorrow night at the du Forum as FLASH welcomes the American actor and comedian to the UAE for the very first time. Join the animated-live performer best known for his award winning role as detective James Carter in the Rush Hour film franchise, his celebrity impersonations and his trademark high-pitched voice as he shares some of his comedic tales.

Ministry of Sound, the world's biggest club brand, returns to Abu Dhabi at its new home, Rush, playing the best in Dance, Commercial House and RnB every Thursday. They'll be regularly hosting headline DJs, artists and local talent alongside residents Masterstepz and Neil T, complimented by their new sound system, lights, lasers and dancers.

Club SO-HI by Relax@12 brings back their White Magic event, where partygoers are encouraged to dress in white. Enjoy special drink promotions with their By-The-Meter-Beverages menu, free bubbly for ladies all night long, and DJ Tamer spinning the latest club hits.

Keza is back at The Yacht Club again, to bring his French touch to an eclectic track selection, from deep soul-shaker house to sharp hip hop and commercial tunes blended with precision. Support from resident DJ Rabih.

Friday 1st March

This Friday, Estrella Beach Club at the Fairmont welcomes DJ Paul Hamilton to the decks. Originally from Malta, Paul has DJed alongside many artists such as Tiesto, Sander Kleinenberg, Roger Sanchez, Basement Jaxx, Paul Oakenfold, Shapeshifters and Dirty South, to name a few. Listen to some quality deep house tunes while enjoying their BBQ brunch, shisha, sun loungers and cabanas, and beach volleyball for those of you who are feeling energetic.

Al Maya Island's BPM Beach Party returns this Friday, featuring DJsChad Phunk, Stew Magoo, Chris Delaney and special guest DJSimon Kaye.

Mark Jenkyns, one of the freshest members of Hot Creations, is playing at Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE. Mark's natural understanding of the dancefloor coupled with his impulsive methods to spark it into action have enabled him to garner a huge reputation.

For reggae music loves, I Heart Reggae brings you their Stir It Up Reggae Beach Party with music by DJ Chino and Selecta Jezz De Don Dada. As an extra treat they will also feature an Ethiopian cuisine special in addition to the buffet.

Tonight, Etoiles launches the first of their Secret Fridays events with the Milan Fashion Week Closing Party to coincide with the recent Fashion Weeks in London, Paris and Milan. The club will be decorated in all the well known Italian high fashion brands, with dancers, models and a special prize for the best dressed/most fashionable female.Mister Outlaw will be on the decks. Secret Fridays is all about the element of surprise; there will be a different theme or special guest or DJ each and every Friday, with the music style being most commercial, but still with a hint of urban.

Hed Kandi, the most sexy and stylish name in popular dance and house music, returns to the capital at its new weekly home, Rush, this Friday. With DJs John Jones, Cliff Townley and Rick Bonetti, and Emma Frampton live on saxaphone.

3 Time Grammy Award winner Michael W Smith performs live at the Armed Forces Officers' Club & Hotel Abu Dhabi tonight. Singer, song writer and composer Smith is an American contemporary Christian musician, who has charted primarily in the contemporary Christian and occasionally in the mainstream charts.

Old Skool Retro moves to its new home at Warehouse Marina Club every Friday. Chris Delaney as Daddy Cool will be playing all your favourite tracks from the 50s through to the 90s.

Porters Pub is running a Carnival themed party, with music by DJ Darryl Rees.

Sunday 3rd March

Following on from the sell-out productions of Macbeth (2011) and A Midsummer Night's Dream (2012), Globe Education at Shakespeare's Globe returns to Abu Dhabi for a third consecutive year with a thrilling performance of William Shakespeare's tragedy Romeo & Juliet, at the Abu Dhabi National Theatre on Sunday and Monday.


Monday 4th March

Every Monday throughout March, Sax will be playing host to DJ Soulninja at their popular Dollhouse Ladies Night, where ladies receive free selected drinks and bubbly all night.

Wednesday 6th March

Privé at the Hyatt Capital Gate is the next venue to launch a weeklyWine & Cheese night. Savour a variety of 20 artesian cheeses from five different countries paired with premium red and white grape beverages that rotate on a monthly basis.

Start your weekend in style with Milkshake Thursdays at Pearls & Caviar, a night promised to bring out the finest blend of house and RnB. This week, DJ Ka Boo will be serving up soulful and commercial house favorites, before playing the smoothest urban vibes. Support fromDJ Sarah Lawrence, a fresh and exciting DJ from Australia, signed to deep house label Eivissa Soul.

This Thursday, head to The Yacht Club to hear DJ Keza bringing his own French touch to an eclectic track selection, from deep soul-shaker house to sharp hip hop and commerical tunes blended with precision. Support from resident DJ Rabih.

Jazz 'n' Fizz at Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche Hotel is hosting its Russian Party tonight, with female DJ Taya and beverage packages of Russian selected drinks and canapés.

BIG RNB at Rush plays host tonight to DJ Peewee, Collie Buddz' Official DJ. Hailing form Queens NY,DJ PeeWee along with his Soundsystem Pretty Posse have been cultivating the Reggae/Dancehall scene for over 15 years. Support as always from residents Cliff Townley and Neil T.

Warehouse Marina launches their new Thursday Night party, with DJ Chris Delaney hosting the night, and support from resident DJ Chris Harvey and live band Aftershock playing anything from house and dance tunes, to commercial, hip hop and RnB.

Friday 22nd February

Tonight, Etoiles welcomes another big urban artist to perform at the club, MIMS. MIMS (aka Sean Mims) is an American Jamaican rapper from New York who is most famous for his "This Is Why I'm Hot" track in 2007, which entered the Billboard 100 chart at No. 32 and jumped to No.1 within its first week. The leap was recorded as the third biggest in the chart's history and the first No. 1 single for its label, Capitol Records. The track generated 1,000 spins per week and a radio-listening audience well above 59 million, with a remix featuring reggae legend Junior Reid and Cham released shortly after.

Sax Club welcomes back popular performer Marwan Daoud to their Club Arabia Ladies Night, with support from DJ Tony White who will be playing the best of Lebanese, Arabic, Middle Eastern and club hits.

Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE continues their international DJ events this weekend with Grammy-nominated, internationally renowned DJ, producer and songwriter, Dirty South. He has produced, collaborated or remixed for the likes of Snoop Dogg, Kaskade, U2, The Temper Trap, David Guetta, Sebastian Ingrosso, Axwell and many others. Resident DJs Frederick Stone and Jean B will be serving up the supporting grooves.

For techno and tech house fans, Boogie Box is on tonight at The Yacht Club, featuring Boogie Box debutants Machine Machine (aka Mehdi Ansari) and Sansa. Dubai based Mehdi and Sansa have been causing quite the ruckus in the music scene in the region as of late, most notably by co-founding and playing as the resident DJs at the always raw and underground Analog Room. Support from resident DJ Hassan Alwan and live visuals by VJ Kraijta.

Warehouse Marina Club is launching their new Disco Fever night, with DJ Chris Delaney playing tracks from the 50s through to the 90s.

Noche at RoccoForte Hotel presents Abu Dhabi's first Poetry Open Mic, where amateurs can recite their own lyrical compositions on stage. The monthly Rooftop Rhythms are hosted by Dorian "Paul D" Rogersand feature the old school hip hop and fly jams of DJ Froid.

Monday 25th February

Don't forget, Etoiles now hosts their Wine & Cheese night every Monday. The weather is perfect now for you to enjoy a selection of cheese, bread and chutneys on their terrace at the Emirates Palace overlooking their stunning gardens and the Arabian Sea.

The monthly Full Moon Celebration is on tonight at Ornina, with beverage and tapas packages and deep house tunes by resident DJ Tony Tone.

The Yacht Club introduces Jet Lag Night, where every Monday night, airline crew can get food and beverage discounts including giveaways, all set to the sounds of resident DJ Rabih.

Ornina is running a Gents Night Out night tonight, with a complimentary drink on arrival, special deals in the bar for men and great tunes by resident DJ Tony Tone.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Flash Entertainment announced that the world famous American band Guns 'n' Roses will return to rock Abu Dhabi on 28th March at the du Arena. Inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in April last year, Guns 'n' Roses remain one of the world's most popular bands, continuing to sell out concerts worldwide.

Flash also announced that Andrea Bocelli, the biggest-selling classical soloist, will be performing live at du Arena (among other musicians) as part of this year’s du World Music Festival, du Live on 22md March. Bocelli's mellow yet powerful voice can be heard on over 80 million albums, while his concerts continue to sell-out worldwide.

Thursday 14th February - Valentine's Day!

This Thursday is Valentine's Day! Whether you're planning on heading out for a romantic dinner for two, or would rather party with your friends instead, you'll find plenty of options across the Capital to choose from. For full Valentine's Day event listings, click here.

Do you enjoy being single? Then Left Bank's Single In The City party is the place to be tonight. There will be unlimited house beverages on offer and DJ Alex Lees playing a mash up of Commercial House, Hip Hop and RnB.

Bringing the romance direct from Paris this Valentine's Day at Etoiles is French radio star and mash-up master, DJ Emir. Emir has DJed at aftershows of stars including NE-YO, Michelle Rodriguez, Nicole Scherzinger, Shontelle and EVE, and has made numerous remix and mash up records for artists such as Bob Sinclar, Drake, Rihanna and Notorious Big.

Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche Hotel, in partnership with French Alliance, has organised an exclusive Jazz concert on their pool terrace, with renowned author and composer, Cécilia Bertolini. Due to her amazing voice and writing talents, Cécilia performed in many Parisian clubs, theatres and festivals, and reinterpreted the repertoire of the great jazz standards at more than fifty concerts.

Forget smooth and romantic sounds this Valentine's Day. At B-Lounge at Sheraton Hotel, get ready for a hot Brazilian Carnival party instead. The popular open air lounge will see an open air party à la Rio De Janeiro with a DJ from Colombia, samba dancers and an extensive cocktail menu.

He has released a number of very successful mixtapes on Tinie's label and has played live on Radio 1 and Radio 1 xtra to name a few. With DJs, BBQ, shisha, sun loungers and cabanas, and even a spot of beach volleyball if you fancy it, there's plenty to keep you entertained for a fun day on the Fairmont's beach. World renowned cocktailman, Javier de las Muelas is the founder of the legendary Dry Martini bar in Barcelona, Spain, that was included in the world's top ten bars list, and where Martini is served in more than 100 varieties. All set to the sounds of resident DJ Chris Jackson.

Monday 18th February

Every Monday, Etoiles presents Wine & Cheese night, where guests can enjoy a selection of cheese, bread and chutneys on the Etoiles terrace at the Emirates Palace overlooking their stunning gardens and the Arabian Sea.

Wednesday 20th February

The monthly Vine Mixer is on tonight at Lemon & Lime at the Westin Hotel, where guests can enjoy Spanish inspired tasting plates paired with some great Chilean vines, while listening to piano and vocals by resident artist Jean Charles.

If you're looking for an alternative to the sounds you find elsewhere in the city, then head to Boogie Box at Pearls & Caviar for their monthly underground house and techno party. Tonight, special guest DJ, Adam Rahman (Ill Communications/Torque) will be joining resident Hassan Alwan on the decks. Adam is one of the most technically talented techno DJs in the region and he always finds a way to get the crowd grooving. VJ Krajta will be manning the visuals to project outrageous animations for your visual pleasures.

The renowned DJ from France, DJ Keza, is back at The Yacht Club this Thursday, playing alongside resident DJ Rabih.

Experience the ultimate Russian Party at Jazz 'N' Fizz at Sofitel Hotel, every first and third Thursdays of the month. For the launch party tonight, they have invited special guest female DJ Taya, and will be offering beverage packages of Russian selected drinks and canapes.

Friday 8th February

This Friday, head to Estrella at the Fairmont Hotel for a special beach party with DJ Jack. For Filipino music lovers, Parokya Ni Edgar is playing live at du Forum tonight. The band is famous and most lauded for its original rock novelty songs and often satirical covers of popular songs. Their musical style varies from one song to another - alternative rock to pop rock, funk to rapcore, and so on - while providing comic relief to their listeners.

Tuesday 12th February

Head to Sax Club this Tuesday to get your Middle Eastern vibes fix, where they will be playing host to Lebanese superstar Carlos performing live. Support from DJ Tony White.

Wednesday 13th February

Eight gives you a brand new reason to party every Wednesday, with its BlendIt party. The weekly event will feature free flavored margaritas for ladies, complimentary Jose Cuervo tequila shots for guys and free popcorn for everyone. Resident DJ Neil T will be playing a blend of Old Skool RnB, hip hop, house tunes and club favourites.

Skylite welcomes their new resident DJ, DJ Anya (Dubai), who you will be playing a mix of tech and deep house music every evening. Originally from Poland, Anya has played at some of the biggest music festivals in Europe with some of the world's top artists.

Stars 'n' Bars launches a new ladies night, Traffic Light Party, where ladies get complimentary mixed drinks, traffic light cocktails and shooters, while listening to music by resident DJ Simon Kaye.

Love is in the air at tonight's Valentine's Day party at Sax Club. The special event will feature Radio 1's Dany Neville and Sax resident DJ Roland playing the best of RnB, hip hop and urban tunes.
