Thursday 28th March 


Tonight, du World Music Festival presents Guns N' Roses live at du Arena. Fans in the capital can look forward to the Eighties rock legends belt classics such as Sweet Child O'Mine, Paradise City, November Rain and Welcome to the Jungle.


Friday 29th March


This Friday, Solomun arrives to the shores of Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE. Solomun is one of the biggest DJs to explode on to the international music scene in recent years, with standout performances across the world, and a huge list of chart topping productions and remixes. Resident DJs Frederick Stone and Jean B will be serving up the supporting grooves.


The Immaculate Touch pool party is back at Al Maya Island today. The entertainment will include stilt walkers, dancers, fire, the LED robot, live music on saxophone and more. Music from DJs Chad Phunk, Stew Magoo, Neil T, Pro-Moe and Chris Delaney.


The Liquid Rain Party returns to Mai Cafe at Aloft Hotel this weekend, featuring DJs Natalie Brogan, Simon B (Radio 1) and DJ Angelo from Spain playing the tunes for you to dance the night away to.


Head to the newly opened Ritz-Carlton Hotel for their after brunch Easter poolside party, featuring an in-house DJ and creative cocktails.


Monday 1st April


This Monday, Rush is launching a new ladies night, Sugar Rush, where ladies receive complimentary premium spirits and signature cocktails, and resident DJs will be playing a mix of the the best in RNB, commercial club tunes and party classics.


Visit the elegant Cloud Nine cigar lounge this April and sample fine cognac, a cigar, and handcrafted chocolate at special rates. Enjoy a sophisticated evening with classy tunes by the pianist in this popular lounge at the Sheraton Hotel.

Tuesday 3rd April


Every Tuesday is Theatro night at Balcony 31 at Grand Millennium Al Wahda hotel, an Arabic and fusion night featuring weekly special guest performers and musicians alongside DJ RAM.


Wednesday 4th April


Sax Club's new Wednesday night offering, Triple Turbulence, hits Abu Dhabi starting from this month. Fasten your seatbelts for the cabin crew take over with some of the coolest regional DJs N.I.K.O.L.A., Paul Hamilton and Rone Jaxx, playing the tunes for you to dance into the night to.

Thursday 21st March 

Enjoy the cool sea breeze as you listen to DJs Natalie Brogan and ChadPhunk at the newly launched Ladies Night at Sea Lounge, Monte-Carlo Beach Club. Women will receive complimentary drinks throughout the evening and the entry fee for men is inclusive of two house beverages.

Tonight, NYUAD in association with Abu Dhabi Festival has organised a concert at Jumeirah at Etihad Towers showcasing Musical Diversity. Featuring several styles of music, ranging from South Indian percussion to multichannel acousmatic music, this unorthodox concert celebrates diversity and multiculturalism. The performance presents works by Robert Rowe, Dafnis Prieto, and Carlos Guedes, as well as a joint improvisatory work.

This Thursday, head to The Yacht Club to hear DJ Keza bringing his own French touch to an eclectic track selection, from deep soul-shaker house to sharp hip hop joints blended with precision. Support from resident DJ Rabih.

Friday 22nd March

The iconic classical music figure Andrea Bocelli is performing at the du Arena tonight, alongside a 70-piece orchestra and 60-piece choir. Wherever he performs, whether it's in New York or London, the beloved tenor with his exciting contemporary voice continues to receive rave reviews.

This Friday, Karmon arrives to the shores of Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE. Having engaged the multitudes with various established forms of electronic music, he now sets out to make a mark with his own style. This year has seen many of his productions top some of the charts, proving his talent as both a producer and a DJ. Resident DJs Frederick Stone and Jean B will be serving up the supporting grooves.

Get your fluorescent swimsuits ready, get painted and be ready to glow at today's UV Paint Party at Al Maya Island. The entertainment will include fluorescent dancers and performers and music from DJs Chad Phunk, Stew Magoo, Simon Kaye and Chris Delaney.

Techno and tech house fans can head to The Yacht Club tonight, as Boogie Box resident DJ Hassan Alwan welcomes to the decks Boogie Box co-founder Shadi Megallaa, alongside Bakh Imanov on warm-up. VJ Kraijta will be illuminating the venue with his visual projections.

Abu Dhabi Festival continues this weekend at the Emirates Palace with another UAE premiere, presenting Joshua Bell and The Czech Philharmonic in concert. The Grammy-nominated US violin virtuoso joins one of the world's internationally acclaimed, multi-award-winning orchestras for an unforgettable evening of classical music.

If you're looking for a fun family day out with some entertainment for the adults as well, check out Toast SANZA at Abu Dhabi Golf Club today. Toast SANZA celebrates all aspects of South African, New Zealand and Australian culture, food and drink. It is a wonderful opportunity to showcase the great heritage, traditions and performing arts from each of these culture rich nations. With live entertainment from Australian DJ Sarah Lawrence, as well as live bands, this really is a fun day (leading into the night) not to be missed.

Saturday 23rd March

Another UAE premiere as part of Abu Dhabi Festival is the concert of the quintessential music icon of Brazil, Gilberto Gil at the Emirates Palace. Prepare for a night of myriad styles, from samba to bossa nova and reggae to rock with the Grammy-Award winning artist, whose career spans more than 46 years.

Sunday 24th March

China's sensational Yundi, 'Prince of the Piano', makes his Arab world premiere at the Abu Dhabi Festival at Emirates Palace tonight. Widely regarded as one of the most gifted pianists of his generation, his talent is as impressive as the roll-call of concert halls in which he has performed, including Carnegie Hall, Théâtre du Châtelet, Royal Festival Hall and the Salzburg Festival.

Impressions at Anantara Eastern Mangroves Hotel recently launched a new Salsa Night on Sundays. The Latin theme night features a dance workshop and time for socialising afterwards.

Monday 25th March

The newly opened Balcony 31 lounge and bar at the Grand Millennium Al Wahda hotel introduces a Ladies Night every Monday, with entertainment by DJ Mike and free vodka based cocktails for ladies all night.

Wednesday 27th March

Tonight, Sax Club is throwing a Full Moon Party, featuring Radio 1's Rone Jaxx and special exotic drinks to spice up the night.

Fireflies Ladies Night will emerge from its cocoon tonight at the latest addition to the capital's nightlife, Imago at Le Royal Meridien. All ladies will receive complimentary Imago signature cocktails, created by their famous mixologist Dani. Deep house tunes provided by resident DJ N.I.K.O.L.A. and guest DJ Paul Hamilton.

The monthly white edition Full Moon Celebration is on tonight at Ornina, with free drinks inside for all ladies dressed in white.

Teachers can now buy one beverage and get one free at Stills every Wednesday.

Thursday 14th March


The iconic musician Sting is performing at the du Arena tonight, where he will play many well-known hits from his solo career, plus classics from his time as the front man of one of the world's most popular bands, The Police.


The Abu Dhabi Irish Society's St. Patrick's Day Ball is on tonight at the Emirates Ballroom at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. This event will present the best of Irish culture here on the sandy shores of Abu Dhabi. It will be a jam-packed night of traditional Irish music and singing, Irish dancing, dramatic performances, guest appearances and bucket-loads of 'craic'! The highly successful band Hermitage Green  will also be flown from Ireland to perform on the night.


For ballet fans, one of the finest ballet companies in the world makes its debut appearance in the UAE with two breathtaking performances this weekend to open the 10th anniversary edition of the Abu Dhabi Festivalat Emirates Palace. The Mariinsky Ballet, straight from Saint Petersburg in Russia, will amaze you with its incredible grace and technique during their stunning performance. 


Friday 15th March


Immaculate Touch  returns to Al Maya Island for their new season this Friday, featuring DJs Natalie BroganChad PhunkStew Magoo  and Chris Delaney. With the infamous illuminated I.T-BOT, stilt walkers, fire breathers and dancers, there will be plenty to keep partygoers entertained.


This Friday, a fresh slice of the UK's youngest new talent arrives to play at Blue Marlin Ibiza UAEVICE London, who made their mark in the underground of Ibiza last summer. With their deep house and dark techno they arrive on the decks as a trio but play as one. Expect a big taste of real cutting-edge music.

Skylite launch their new Culture Club  post brunch party today, where resident DJ Anya will be playing 80s tunes. Skylite will be decorated in neon décor, party favors, 80s attire, and screens will be playing your favourite 80s music videos and films.


Celebrate St. Patrick's Day at P.J.'s with a festive buffet, Irish music and dance, a contest for best "Paddy's" dress with winners receiving valuable prizes. Enjoy live music by resident band Sweet Chilli Jam and DJ David Soto, as well as Aboud the Fiddler  who will delight the crowds with traditional Irish tunes.


Also throwing a St. Patrick's Day themed party this weekend is Le Meridien, where you can enjoy a barbeque and beverages like Guinness, Kilkenny, Jameson's and some more Irish creations from the bar. Their resident DJ will play the crowd's favourite music featuring hits from the 70s, 80s, 90s and of course the best of Irish.


Lebanese superstar and celebrity Anwar El Amir  will be performing live at Sax Club  tonight, performing hits such as Estha'telloh, Kifo, Shoftak B'einy, Habib Einaya and Bila Noum. Support from DJ Tony White.

The new house series of events at Rush continues tonight withChampagne Pussykat where ladies will receive complimentary Champagne all night, to the tunes of Simon KayeCliff Townley and Rick Bonetti.


Fancy a laugh? Then head to The Clubhouse at Zayed Sports City for the Punchline Comedy Club. Starting out on the Hong Kong entertainment scene in 1994, the Punchline Comedy Club has been enthralling audiences with top international comedians such as Michael McIntyre, Bill Bailey and Russell Peters to name a few. Live performances have reached major locations including Shanghai, Bangkok, Melbourne, Singapore, Tokyo and Vietnam, and are now in the UAE. The Punchline Comedy Club Middle East will feature three exciting comedians on its premier line-up; Geoff Boyz, Jeremy O'Donnell and Karl Spain.


Irish band Hermitage Green  are playing at Heroes tonight as part of their weekend long St. Patrick's Day celebrations.

Saturday 16th March


A brand new night launches at Rush tonight with Theatro, the new weekly Saturday event fusing together the best in Arabic and international hits. Every table booked will receive a complimentary bottle of champagne to join in the celebrations and ladies receive free drinks till 1am.


Sunday 17th March


On St. Patrick's DaySkylite's resident DJ Anya will be mixing the tunes so you enjoy hits from Irish legends such as U2 and the Cranberries as well as lively traditional Irish music. They're offering two drinks for the price of one on selected Irish and specially mixed green beverages to those people wearing a green item of clothing. 


Tuesday 19th March


Sax Club  launches their new weekly Tuesday Afterclass 'I Will Not Go Home'  event tonight, with buy one get one free drink promotions from 7pm, and music by resident DJ Roland.


Wednesday 20th March


For classical music lovers, Plácido Domingoone of the Three Tenors, performs tonight at Emirates Palace as part of the Abu Dhabi Festival's 10th anniversary celebrations. The legendary musician has dominated the world of opera for more than three decades, appearing in more roles than any other tenor in history, and has performed in every major opera house in the world, including a record 20 times at The Met.

Thursday 7th March


Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE  in association with Ohm Events  welcomes international techno legend Marco Carola to the decks tonight. Marco Carola is a global ambassador of techno. As a highly respected artist in the electronic music scene for more than two decades, Marco Carola is one of the most in demand DJs on the planet. "The Ambassador of Techno" is praised for his ability to work any and every crowd, rocking countless thousands of techno lovers across every part of the globe. He's played at the biggest clubs and festivals across the world - a night not to be missed. 


Boogie Box  returns to Pearls & Caviar this weekend for more underground house and techno and live visuals at an intimate outdoor setting. This month, they look forward to hosting Deep House and Disco Duo Kay Tek and Markii for their Boogie Box debuts. The boys have been keeping busy in Dubai over the past year, with Kay Tek holding down a weekly residency at Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE and Markii at Sho Cho. With live drumming by Fadi K. 


This Thursday, Lemon & Lime are running an Old World vs New Zealand  variation of their weekly Vine Down Thursdays  event. Chef David has prepared some amazing Old World inspired tasting plates paired with some great New Zealand vines. Sample the selection and vote on your favourites to go in the draw to win some wonderful prizes.


Friday 8th March


Al Maya Island's BPM  Beach Party returns this Friday, featuring DJs Chad PhunkStew Magoo, Chris Delaney and special guest DJ Neil T.


Originally hatched in Montreal, but currently based in London,Blond:ish aka DJs Anstascia  and Vivie-Ann hit the decks at Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE today. Expect provocative basslines contrasted with smooth textures and sticky vocals that blend to produce a genre of house that rebels against any other.


Etoiles continues with their Secret Fridays series of themed events, tonight with Champagne Friday, where all ladies will receive free champagne before 1am. Music by popular DJ Emtee.


Heroes and Level Lounge  in the Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi Hotel  are running International Women's Day celebration nights with free selected drinks for ladies between 6pm and 9pm.

Tuesday 12th March


Head to Ornina tonight for their very first Cigar Night. Indulge in delightful canapés and enjoy the stylish atmosphere of their venue while admiring the art of Cigar-Rolling by the famous Tocedora, Ms. Ivette Carnet Garcia.
