Another month, and another hotel launch in Abu Dhabi. The Novotel on Muroor Street is finally opened, and we popped down last week to check out their new venues!

Novotel Abu Dhabi Al Bustan hotel is now open and presents 3 new destinations to lounge, eat and drink in the Capital - Recharge Lounge, Amber Bar and Waves Lounge.

Recharge Lounge

Recharge Lounge offers a combination of European and Asian courses paired with a wide selection of cocktails, draught beers and specialty cocktails. The bar turns around the G+T Bar, broadcasting a special selection of imported Gins with their own garnish to be enjoyed in a relaxed atmosphere.

 

Amber Bar

Amber bar offers a wide selection of Belgian draught and bottled beer combined with European hops. Signature Belgian and gastro pub food dishes combined with a perfect beer pairing make Amber an ideal place for post diner drink.

Waves Lounge

Soak up the imperious views of the city at this outdoor lounge, the perfect place for sundowners to unwind in stylish sofas and hanging cocoon chairs. Choose from clean cut beers to hand crafted cocktails for the perfect pre-dinner drink or settle in for the evening.

Get ready for the annual TIGER party at Sea Lounge, Monte-Carlo Beach Club this Friday, with a full day line-up with DJ EAST, supported by Danny Shirran with his electric guitar, DJs Koast, Melohman and Soulfisher from 6pm till late. Expect the unexpected with street art, live music, competitions and prizes!

O1NE Yas Island will be opening its doors this Friday hosting the official After-Party of The Macklemore and Ryan Lewis show, allong with a special performance by Wiley.

Saturday 26th April

Every Saturday, let the rhythm take over at Spanish-themed  Puesta del Sol at Sea Lounge, Monte-Carlo Beach Club. Enjoy a traditional Flamenco performance, dancers and a Spanish guitarist, and as the day moves into night, resident DJ  Melohman will take to the decks with a mix of Latin, house, Brazilian, funk, Nu Jazz and soulful beats. Watch the sun set over Saadiyat Island while sampling the traditional Spanish delicacy, paella, complimented by a glass of sangria.

Sunday 27th April

The smash-hit show Whose Line is it Anyway? returns to the InterContinental Abu Dhabi on Sunday April 27, and will see regular members from the Comedy Store Players in London including Stephen Frost, Steve Steen, Andy Smart, Ian Coppinger, as well as special guest star Phill Jupitus, bring their unscripted, comic genius to stage.

Monday 28th April

Every Monday experience a legendary Ladies Night at Sax club with renowned DJ Adam Graca (Mahiki Dubai) and free drinks for ladies all night.

Tuesday 29th April

Cooper's in the Park Rotana brings you 5 dedicated Ladies Nights throughout the week, with Female Cabin Crew and Teacher's Night on Tuesdays with selected beverages from 9pm till midnight and DJ James playing a mix of house.

Wednesday 30th April

Le Méridien hotel visitors will get an opportunity to celebrate for the first time King Willem Day, what was then Queen's Day, this Wednesday from 4pm onwards. The Center Garden will be converted into a Netherland city with typical orange festive decorations, featuring food stalls with a large array of authentic Dutch dishes and a live performance from Dutch singer Wilfred Belles entertaining guests until sunset.
