Well, it certainly looks like the party season has started - there's a lot happening in Abu Dhabi nightlife this week!

EVENTS THIS WEEK

Thursday 29th November

BIG RNB at Rush welcomes back Dr. Psycho. As an entertaining entity, Dr. Psycho has a tremendous impact worldwide, where he has DJ'ed and hosted nights in Europe, Asia and The Americas. Support from residents Cliff Townley and Neil T.

Vertical in the Cristal Salam Hotel has launched a new Ladies Night where ladies receive free house beverages between 9pm and midnight every Thursday.

Club SO-HI at the Aloft Hotel are celebrating their recent win for Favourite Club Night at the What's On Awards with a Liquid Victory Party. Since it's a now little chilly for a pool party, they're taking the party to Club SO-HI, where everyone will receive a free welcome drink and ladies receive free bubbly all night long. DJs are Natalie Brogan and DJ Tamer.

Put your Afro wigs and funky glasses on and get ready for Salsa Glam 2 at Enigma Club (Al Raha Beach Hotel) tonight. Enjoy Latin dance classes with Latin Dance Abu Dhabi club, and salsa the night away with Go-Go dancers and special shows throughout the night.

It's the official launch party for Turquoiz at the St. Regis. Saadiyat Island Resort. This is an invite only event though, so if you haven't got tickets, you'll have to head down there another time to check out the newest beachside location to open up in the capital.

Eight are celebrating their 4th Birthday tonight, with DJ Ray and DJ Ka Boo behind the decks. Ladies receive free drinks from 10pm till 1am.

Friday 30th November

Urban Education at Pearls & Caviar are hosting special guest DJ Stylus from the UK tonight. Stylus has worked with the likes of Trevor Nelson, DJ EZ, Steve Sutherland, Heartless Crew, Clinton Sparx, Mistajam, Semtex / Rampage and Tim Westwood. He has also been the Official Afterparty DJ for some of the biggest names in the business, including Wiz Khalifa, Tinie Tempah, J.Cole, Nas & Damien Marley, SWV, Faith Evans, Ginuwine, Dru Hill, Jay Z & Kanye West, Snoop Dogg and Nicki Minaj. His performances on the decks are not to be missed. Support from Radio 1's Rone Jaxx.

Iconic Motown legends The Jacksons will share the unforgettable songs of the Jackson 5, The Jacksons, and a tribute to their brother Michael at the du Forum, tonight. Performing as part of their worldwide 'Unity Tour', the concert will feature founding members Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon and Tito in a spectacular stage show that plays homage to the 'First Family of Music'.

It's Cooper's 3rd Birthday Bash tonight, with a Brazilian Carnival theme, and 5-piece band Danna Miranda & The Dazarabias alongside two amazing Samba dancers to sizzle the party.

House Society returns to Rush for their second week, this week with Simon Kaye, of The Guru Project fame, playing his special blend of house music. The Guru Project are behind the track 'Inifinity' and more recently the 2012 remix of 'Toca's Miracle'! Support from resident DJs Cliff Townley and Natalie Brogan.

Enjoy some sun, sand and tunes this National Day weekend at Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE's National Day Fiesta. On Friday, join Rudy, the dynamic vocalist of club and festival (Axwell, Dirty South), and Shawnee Taylor, the Subliminal Records singer (Erick Morillo's label). On Saturday, it's Ultra Nate anthems with Michelle Weeks. Support from resident DJs Frederick Stone, Jean B, Jixo & Danz and Kaytek.

Zenith Nightclub at the Sheraton Hotel are running a Winter Solstice Party, with resident DJ Chino playing a mix of hip hop, RnB and Reggae. There will be special performances and giveaways on the night.

For classical music fans, the UAE National Symphony Orchestra presents A National Day Gala Concert, a combined festival of arts with Dvorak's 'Carnival Overture' and 'Riverdance' arrangement created for UAENSO, and Mussorgsky's majestic 'Pictures at an Exhibition' with exhibitions of artwork by prominent Emirati visual artists.

Saturday 1st December

It's Double Or Nothing with Delicious, the duo from Amsterdam, at Warehouse Marina tonight. Delicious will be dishing out their hottest house, electro and dirty Dutch tracks. Their back to back spin tactics and mixture of house genres will keep you dancing all night. Support by DJ Trina and MC Tommy.
For the first time in Abu Dhabi, Lebanese star Elie Massad will be performing live at Cedar Lounge in the Fairmont Hotel.

The Open Mic Night returns to B-Lounge at the Sheraton Hotel this evening, featuring new and regular performers. Get there early to reserve your spot in the Arabic amphitheater or on one of their stylish couches under the palm trees.

Rest of the Week

On Sunday night, supermodel DJ Angie Vu Ha is behind the decks at Club SO-HI. As Asia's best looking DJ, she's been featured among the Top 10 hottest Supermodel DJs in the world and was Playboy's Miss Social last month. Angie has released two singles 'Cookies' and 'Cream' featuring UK's top vocalist, Taya. With massive support from Gareth Emery, Marco V and Ministry of Sound Radio, this former resident DJ of New Asia Bar and headliner of UK's ESCAPE Party is burning tracks all over the world. Her music style is house, electro and hip hop.

On Monday, Urban Flow at Warehouse Marina hosts special guests DJ Timmid (UK) and DJ Symon Chris (France) playing RnB, hip hop, Old Skool, Reggae and Dancehall.

On Tuesday, Vertical launches another new ladies night, Tuesday Nights With DJ Cliff. Ladies receive unlimited cocktails from 9pm till midnight.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, enjoy something a bit different with The Woman In Black theatre production. Unanimously acclaimed by the critics, Stephen Mallatratt's stage adaptation of Susan Hill's bestselling novel combines the power and intensity of live theatre with a cinematic quality, transporting audiences into a terrifying and ghostly world. A lawyer obsessed with a curse that he believes has been cast over him and his family by the spectre of a 'Woman in Black' engages a sceptical young actor to help him tell his terrifying story and exorcise the fear that grips his soul.

Also on Wednesday, it's Vintage SWAG Ladies Night at Sax Club, with DJ Ka Boo playing all things Old Skool, and ladies receive free selected drinks all night.
