EVENTS THIS WEEK

Thursday 31st October - Halloween!

This Thursday, a South Beach, Florida inspired lifestyle brand, SoBe is launching at Sea Lounge, Monte-Carlo Beach Club in sensational Halloween style. The legendary Yelloween party, hosted by the finest French yellow-label bubbly Veuve Clicquot in the world, will feature special sets from guest DJs JADE (C U NXT SAT, Beirut, Lebanon) and Jixo & Danz. What's more, Yelloween's surreal world of seduction, glamour and horror will come alive with a series of entertainers and performers. Support from resident DJs Natalie Brogan and Chad Phunk.

Start your weekend early at Left Bank with their Beat the Clock offer between 5pm and 9pm, where DJ Asela will be playing the latest chart and feel-good music, and then continue the party with THE WKENDR from 9pm till the morning hours.

It's time to dress up as your favourite character for the Simply Jazzy Halloween tonight, where the best costume will get a surprise treat from Jazz 'n Fizz.

The Yasalam After-Race Concerts kick off this Thursday, with three of the Arab world's most prominent musical superstars. Amr Diab, the biggest selling Arab recording artist of all time will top the bill, with award-winning Emirati artist Hussain Al Jassmi and three times world music award winner Lebanese superstar Elissa. (This concert is exclusively for race ticket holders)

Visit Captain's Arms for a Spooktacular Halloween night, with free Halloween bites, Halloween hunt, beer chasers on offer, and a top prize for the spookiest costume on the night. And not just that, dance all night long to the favourite beats from their resident DJ.

Halloween at Cooper's will be promoting the scariest costume of the night. Participate in the best costume competition and win a great prize.

Porters bar in the Grand Millennium Al Wahda hotel will have a special food and beverage menu for Halloween, and anyone who comes dressed up will receive a complimentary drink. Music by resident band Playback.

Zenith nightclub will be hosting a monster night on Halloween with resident DJ CJ and will also have a guest DJ mixing it up. Pop on some Halloween party costumes and be in to win prizes in the costume competition.

Halloween at The Tavern is set to rock with resident band Rain Duo ready to scare with some terrifying tunes. Join in the fun by wearing your scariest costume, and enjoying some special Halloween cocktails and surprises for all.

This Thursday sees the Grand Opening of the latest nightclub on Yas Island, O1NE, featuring exclusive performances from Grammy award winning artists Ludacris and Ciara.

Friday 1st November

Catch JAY Z set the du Arena on fire on the first night of the Yasalam After-Race Concerts. 17-time Grammy Award winner and arguably the biggest hip hop star of our times, Shawn "JAY Z" Carter will be descending on Abu Dhabi to complement the excitement post the first set of practice sessions on Friday.

Cirque Le Soir are taking their Dubai brand of circus based fun over to the Capital's Yas Viceroy hotel at Rush where they'll be transforming the venue into a hedonistic party place.  They've booked two big name urban acts for the high powered weekend, with Nelly playing live on Friday November 1, while Akon will perform the following night Saturday 2nd, with a grand finale of exploding surprises promised by Code 20 for the closing Sunday night.

Be at the center of the action at Skylite with upbeat house music from resident DJ Anya, sipping on signature cocktails accompanied by delectable tapas. It's the trendiest place to chill after a day at the racetrack under the atmosphere created by the unique sparkling grid shell of Yas Viceroy.

The Podium Lounge with Boujis Club is the ultimate A-list party for the racing community as well as for Dubai and Abu Dhabi's party elite. Attended by the ultra jet-set crowd, this party at Yas Viceroy Marina Rooftop will be the most sought after and glamorous nightlife experience during the Formula 1, with an extensive DJ line-up: Sander Kleinenberg (NL), Seb Fontaine (UK), Hollaphonic (UAE), Hugo Heathcote (UK) and Miles Slater (UK). One of the biggest nightclubs in Dubai will be taking over the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix with the very first Vip Room pop-up club in the UAE at the Radisson Blu Yas Island Ballroom, with a weekend of special guest performances every night.

Amber Lounge returns to Abu Dhabi for the 5th year running to celebrate their 10th year anniversary. The opening tonight features DJs from the international clubbing scene and the famous Amber Lounge Girls Night Out party, a private evening in true Monte-Carlo style.

The famous Bubble Lounge, launched at Dubai World Cup, has now finally come to Abu Dhabi. Celebrate the energy, the highlights and triumphs of the Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix while you bubble up in a classy, hip and vibrant atmosphere at C. Mondo in the Centro Yas Island hotel.

The underground phenomenon that is Circoloco arrives at Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE. This race weekend get things started with a real Ibiza Friday, as four Ibiza residents, Dan Ghenacia, Dyed Soundorom, D'Julz and Sossa take on the terrace with their sweet pulsing Balearic beat.

Gear up for the F1 with the sound of Ibiza at Glo lounge at Rosewood hotel, as they welcome tonight DJ Steffen Baumann for their Grand Prix VIP event.

In the mood for some easy listening? Every evening during the F1 race weekend, catch singer Diane O'Sullivan as she serenades the crowd with the best of modern cover and tribute songs at the newly opened Iris Yas Island lounge.

Saturday 2nd November

World famous rock group Muse will headline the third After-Race Concert on Saturday 2nd November.

The legendary Ibiza club brand Pukka Up will be celebrating its 10th Anniversary at Monte-Carlo Beach Club, Saadiyat this Saturday. With the hottest DJs straight from the super clubs of Ibiza, Celeste Siam and Chris Wright will take to the decks for a one-of-a-kind event set beside the pool of the beach club. From 2pm till 5pm Sea Lounge's resident DJs will warm up the crowds, with the guest DJs igniting the party from 5pm onwards, followed by an After Party at Sea Lounge where guests can keep the party going.

Saturday night at O1NE Yas Island will feature the Swedish-born singer John Martin, who is well known for his collaborations with Swedish House Mafia and DJ of the moment Avicii.

The White Room's all-star resident DJs head to Iris Yas Island for one unforgettable night at the race tracks. Feel the adrenaline, enjoy the views and dance to the bustling music by DJ Charbel and DJ Jojo as Iris Yas Island ushers in an insane race weekend of non-stop musical performances.

Sunday 3rd November

The Yasalam After-Race Concerts culminate with a finale concert from British electronic legends Depeche Mode, who are sure to bring the 5th anniversary race weekend to a spectacular close.

Tonight, Amber Lounge VIP guests will experience an exclusive up-close and personal performance by the LA-based group Far East Movement. Experience the stylish post-race party of choice for F1 drivers and celebrities alike.

Closing the spectacular O1NE Yas Island F1 weekend is legendary German house DJ, Solomun whose musical style offers the crowd deepness and funkiness.
