NIGHTLIFE ANNOUNCEMENT

A fresh start for Left Bank Abu Dhabi

Left Bank Abu Dhabi announced today the appointment of Gary Digby, an experienced F&B manager from the UK who has been brought in to Left Bank to re-energise, revolutionise and reintroduce Abu Dhabi to the venue.

Gary has already made a host of changes, including the introduction of a daily happy hour from 5pm till 9pm (4pm till 9pm post brunch on Fridays), where everyone receives 50% discount on all food and beverage (excluding bottles of spirits, fine wines and champagne), and is completely overhauling the menu to make it more appealing and fitting with the concept of the venue. The daily events and their respective music styles are getting a complete makeover as well, with the launch of new theme nights, Ladies Soul Sundays, Industry Night and Sway Ladies Night.

Gary has also negotiated a strategic partnership with Decadent Entertainment, one of Abu Dhabi’s leading and most respected nightlife event management companies, who have been hosting popular nights including Urban Education, RetroFlect and Recession in Abu Dhabi for over four years. Decadent Entertainment will be moving their events from Pearls & Caviar in the Shangri-La, with RetroFlect moving to Thursday nights, and Urban Education running on Friday nights (as of next week).

Thursday 30th May

Looking for a good ladies night in the Capital tonight? Then head to Sea Lounge, Monte-Carlo Beach Club for their last Ladies Night for the season with DJs Natalie Brogan and ChadPhunk, where from 8pm onwards, girls will receive complimentary drinks throughout the evening.

The newly launched exclusive night HIVE at Imago bar at Le Royal Meridien is hosting another special DJ tonight, Alex Lees (UK/Embassy Dubai), playing alongside resident DJ N.I.K.O.L.A.

Friday 31st May

Skylite, the rooftop bar in the Yas Viceroy hotel, closes its doors for the season tonight, with their Press Pause Season Closing Party. With a fantastic DJ line-up, great promotions, live cooking stations, a dedicated Shisha lounge, amazing prizes including Christian Louboutin vouchers, they are ending the Skylite season in style. With tunes by DJ Anya, Cliff Townley, Kristian Valdini and Rooman Latif, and free beverages for ladies between 4pm and 8pm, this is bound to be a busy night.

This Friday, Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE invites one of the most talked about DJs in recent years who has rocked every continent of the world and headlined every major festival entertaining millions, Luciano. Be a part of what's set to be a magical day of the true Balearic spirit and music as the terrace comes alive to the sounds of the Cadenza Records creator and maestro. Sip cocktails and dance on the sand to an irresistible, mind-altering blend of bare-bones techno and hot-blooded Latin rhythms. It's every aspect of Ibiza encompassed in the heart of the Middle East. Supporting grooves from resident DJs Frederick Stone and Jean B.

The longest running pool party in Abu Dhabi, ImmaculateTouch, returns to Al Maya Island today, with its hedonistic array of entertainment including 4 DJs, stilt walkers, dancers, fire, an LED robot, Erika De Ville on violin, plus a free CD giveaway, all on a private island. Enjoy the amazing beachfront, cool down in the pool and party all day to the tunes of DJs Chad Phunk, Simon Kaye, Stew Magoo and Pro-Moe. 

It's Vendredi House Sessions at Sea Lounge, Monte-Carlo Beach Club tonight, the Capital's longest party in a stunning party zone with a beautiful view of the sunset and fabulous beach and pool facilities. With resident DJs Soulfisher, Koast and Melohman.

Saturday 1st June

Visit B-Lounge at the Sheraton hotel tonight, as they open the curtains for the last Open Mic Night before the summer break. This popular event is a gathering point for local musicians and bands in a relaxed open air environment.

Sunday 2nd June

The newest ladies night to hit the Capital, Ladies Soul Sundays is launching at Left Bank tonight, with the return of their popular 5 cocktails for 5 dirhams promotion for ladies and DJ Asela playing everything from old skool tunes to today's RnB hits.

Monday 3rd June

There has never been a more perfect place to unwind after work than Left Bank Abu Dhabi, home of the best cocktails in town. This Monday, they launch their Industry Night, where everyone in the hospitality industry gets 50% off all day and DJ Asela will be playing a mix of commercial and RnB hits.
Following the launch of Imago's new ladies night, Glow, where ladies receive free signature cocktails, Sax Club launches their latest ladies night offering with AfterGlow featuring award winning DJ Scottie B from the UK, with free vodka based drinks for the girls all night.
