 at Rush welcomes special guest DJ Melody Kane from the UK to the decks this Thursday. Melody has gained a solid reputation amongst her peers in the music industry as being one of the most professional and talented female DJs on the scene. From special guest appearances or at her own residencies in London, Melody always brings the house down with her unique energy, technical skill and crowd reading ability. Support from resident DJs Cliff Townley and Neil T.

After their season hiatus, Ele:mental returns to Pearls & Caviar with Shadi Megallaa, Leftroom Records recording artist and Boogie Box co-founder, behind the decks to treat you to his record bag of tech house goodies. Resident Hassan Alwan will be joining, along with visuals maestro Krajta.

Stars 'n' Bars' Oktoberfest celebrations continue with a Siren Party - when you hear or see the siren going off, a different drink promotion will be going on at the bar. Jagerettes will be serving shots throughout the night.

P.J. O'Reilly's are launching their new retro night, Tropicana, where you'll hear their resident DJ play 70s, 80s and 90s pop anthems, with ladies receiving three complimentary cocktails.

Friday 5th October


RetroFlect, the post brunch party at Pearls & Caviar, is back again for the season, with DJ Jono Bradford playing retro classics, from 70s Glam Rock, through to the New Wave and Romantics genres of the 80s, right up to the rock and pop classics of the 80s, 90s and the Noughties, as you watch the sun setting over the Grand Mosque.

Then later, Urban Education, the hottest urban night to hit the nation's capital, returns to Pearls & Caviar. With resident DJ Rone Jaxx, and support from DJ Shero, you'll hear and dance to a unique blend of old, new and commercial RnB, Hip Hop and Dancehall, creating the party vibe for a nice, loyal and growing crowd.

The City Golf Club are running their Oktoberfest celebrations this weekend where you can taste 60 varieties of beverages from 22 different countries, with live bands and DJs playing throughout.

The BPM Beach Party is on at Al Maya Island this Friday, with DJsChris DelaneySimon Kaye and Smokingoove playing funky, vocal and soulful house, with live entertainment and dancers throughout the day. Al Maya Island is one of the nicest outdoor venues in the Capital, with its various beach and pool parties now hosting up to 1500 people every week.

The Tavern British Pub is hosting a post brunch party with the Chavela Duo from Uruguay and Spain heating up the crowd with a vast repertoire of classic rock and pop, reggae and jazz/soul, but will also slot in the latest chart hits upon request.

Blackeye Events are running a Blackout party at Zenith nightclub. DJ Chino will be mixing reggae, hip hop and RnB, with prizes to be won throughout the night. The preferred colour is black (but not mandatory) - that's an easy one for most!

Aloft Hotel's Liquid Rain Pool Party is back for the second last time for the season with resident DJ Natalie Brogan splashing her special blend of house music about. Not just a pool party, Liquid takes getting wet to whole new level as cool water showers over the entire dance floor - the perfect way to dance the long, hot summer night away.

Sax Club have announced two surprise celebrity Lebanese singers will perform tonight at their Layali night - so secret, you'll have to turn up to find out who they are, but they're big! Support from DJ Tony White. Ladies also receive a complimentary glass of champagne.

Saturday 6th October

B-Lounge at The Sheraton is running the second night of their popularOpen Mic Night for the season. Be sure to be on time to get a place in their Arabic seating area or on their comfortable couches. To take part as a performer you are required to register at least five days before the event.

The Crew Lounge returns for a new season at Pearls & Caviar, where ladies and airline Crew (yes even the men) receive unlimited free cocktails all night! Kick back or get down under the stars to the sounds supplied by DJ Cliff Townley. Expect to hear anything from Soul and Funk, OldSkool, RnB and Hip-Hop.

Tuesday 9th October

Sax Club are launching their new live band night, Sax Goes Live!, featuring Lisa & The Makers performing all time favourites, classics, the latest popular hits, club anthems and songs on demand.
Wednesday 10th October

In Progress with DJ Koast is on at Ray's Bar again this Wednesday. This is a house music night direct from Athens, where you can expect to hear deep soulful house whilst you sip wonderful cocktails at one of the funkiest new venues in the capital.

B-Lounge officially opens for the season this Wednesday. The open-air and palm-fringed lounge will celebrate its debut by launching exciting theme nights from the tonight onwards.

Stars 'n' Bars are launching a new 'gents night' - Just NOT Ladies Night! A night finally rewarding the spenders, and giving them something back for being such great fun. In partnership with Spinneys, the event will offer men selected drinks for only 15 AED between 8pm and 12am on Wednesday nights.

The Hilton's Oktoberfest celebrations start this Wednesday with music by Das Element, the Bavarian band from Munich, pretzels, bratwurst and beer, the chicken dance and more.

Next LevelEight's new Wednesday night offering kicks off tonight, with DJ Ray Hollywood and a host of other Next Level DJs playing club moving hits, fresh new music, classic club movers, and a mix of all genres for a diverse crowd.
