Thursday 11th October

BIG RNB at Rush welcomes another special guest female DJ from the UK to the decks tonight, Miss Candy. Her career as a DJ really took off after a fluke set in London's Hippodrome, where the heads of both the Sony BMG and TVT street teams were blown away by her ability to incorporate all genres of urban music into her set. Candy can mix just about anything, from Hip-Hop to Funky House, RnB to Garage, and Jungle to Dancehall. With support from resident DJs Cliff Townley andNeil T.

Now that B-Lounge has officially opened (yesterday being the opening party), the first of their regular nights starts tonight, with Reboot, where you say goodbye to the week and hello to the weekend. Enjoy a few drinks in their lovely alfresco area, to the background house tunes supplied by resident DJ Koast.

Popular DJ Bliss (411/ The Real Flava) returns to the decks at Etoilesfor their Etoiles Party night, where he'll be spinning his blend of RnB, Hip Hop and House to please the crowd.

Sea Lounge are launching their new ladies night, Moon Flower Party, this evening, with DJ Natalie Brogan supplying the soulful house sounds. Free drinks for ladies dressed in the theme colour of white from 8pm onwards.

The Yacht Club's resident DJ Rabih will be accompanied by a live saxophonist and dancers later in the night, giving the evening a bit of extra spice.

Heroes in the Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi have launched Teachers Lounge on Thursdays and Fridays, 
with special drink discounts for teachers.


Friday 12th October

There's some great pool/beach/yacht party action happening in Abu Dhabi this weekend.

Glow In the Dark, a house music DJ duo from The Netherlands, will be lighting up the decks at Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE this Friday, supported by resident DJs Frederick Stone and Jean B.

The Immense Ibiza Yacht Party is on again this Friday. Set sail from Al Marina Mall Harbour and cruise around the Gulf Sea for four hours (with an additional hour back in port), with special guest DJ Simon Kaye (The Guru Project) joining resident DJs Chris Delaney and Moe Turk in pumping out Balearic Ibiza beats. Immense's style of music is deep, funky, vocal and uplifting house. The event will host entertainers including sax players and percussionists.

Immaculate Touch returns to Al Maya Island, with live entertainment including the Immaculate dancers, fire breathers and I.T-BOT, their 8 ft. LED robot lighting the way later, and DJs Natalie BroganChadPhunkStew MagooCliff Townley and Pro Moe manning the decks, plus Chris B on percussion, it's bound to be an action packed day and night.

B-Lounge launches their new regular Friday night offering, Jazz 'n' Soul, where you can relax outside to groovy tunes in a sophisticated environment.

Urban Education returns to Pearls & Caviar, with popular UAE DJSoulninja playing back to back Dancehall, Funk, Hip Hop, Old Skool Hip Hop and RnB tunes with resident DJ Rone Jaxx. Soulninja recently won the 'Pioneer DJ-ME Championship' 2012 in the RnB/Urban category.


Tuesday 16th October

Heroes have launched a new live band night, Acoustic Sessions, featuring the International Playboys performing acoustic numbers old and new, with some surprises thrown in.


Wednesday 17th October

In Progress with DJ Koast is on at Ray's Bar this Wednesday. This is a house music night direct from Athens, where you can expect to hear deep soulful house whilst you sip wonderful cocktails at one of the funkiest new venues in the capital.

Bavarian Oktoberfest celebrations start at the Le Meridien this Wednesday, with the tennis courts of the hotel being transformed to create a true German party atmosphere. The live band Alpenklang, flying in directly from Bavaria, will be livening up the 3 nights of festivities with their vibrant traditional music and all-night entertainment.
